The Tigers are a good team and yet find their way to an almost average state every time they take and clinch the division early. You are NOT alone in this. SPARKY ANDERSON was the best we have ever had including JL. Sparky had a way of holding the Teams energy up to another level...he will be missed. The Tigers will battle their way to the end "resting" the Key Players and then with Gods Help we will play NYY first round that way when they win they will be able to rest up for the series!

i have been a detroit tiger fan since 1968 aqn i must say that i have lived thru some good times an bad times. that's coming from a man down south;where there are not many tiger fans. i don't care who we get in the playoffs; i am just glad we are there. in a close series with anyone i am betting on jim leyland to pull us loyal tiger fans thru. GO TIGERS
