What, no option to vote for Edgar Renteria, who was not only a complete bust but cost us Jair Jurrjens AND Gorkys Hernandez? He’s the biggest bust of the last decade for me. I went with Willis though because he was not only a total wash, the writing was all over the wall when the Tigers locked up a significant chunk of payroll in him for 3 years, making him a 2 for one bust, bad trade and bad contract.

Excellent point, Scott. I’ve reset the poll to include Renteria. I suppose I’m doing my best to forget his forgettable year in Detroit.

The trade for Willis wasn’t bad (it did get us Cabrera), it was the signing of Willis to a three-year deal that was bad….and where’s the ‘All of the Above’ choice?
