If he will reduce his contract down from $18 million maybe.

Bringing Mags might be the sentimental thing to do but we need to do something about his contract. If he were willing to come back and accept a lesser role as well as a smaller paycheck we could use his bat in the lineup. We have such an abundance of our outfielders with thump in their bats he would be a fantastic mentor for the young squad. Somewhat like a Latin Johnny Damon.
