Mike and Ian, This was an interesting and most informative podcast with lynn henning. His comments on Verlander have been something I was thinking with him being headstrong about throwing his fastball and not mixing up and using all his pitches. This part of becoming a “pitcher” and less thrower (his fastball), is probably what is keeping him from being thought of as a top 5 overall, instead of just a very good pitcher outside of TigerNation.
