Those late '70s-early '80s teams were heady times, improving every year, lots of new, young talent (remind you of a certain team?). I also remember looking at the standing every day and saying "If we were in the West, we'd be right in it!" as I lamented the Tigers' stranglehold on 4th place in the East.
