The Gist: The Justin Verlander Tigers fans have come to expect showed up against the Mariners Saturday night, earning a quality start but not much else. Verlander scattered seven hits over seven innings, walked one, fanned six and allowed just three earned runs. After falling behind 2-0, the Tigers scratched back to tie the game on Magglio Ordonez‘s fourth homer of the year and a pinch hit single by Johnny Damon.
