I have a great rumor. I heard it on ESPN's Baseball Today podcast on 3/26 @ 6:20. They said that Leyland and Dombrowski aren't agreeing and are arguing with each other. I wonder what they aren't agreeing on-is it Perry/Porcello? It's interesting, I wouldn't doubt it- I had a feeling people weren't agreeing on things behind the scenes.@ the 6:20 mark, they talk about it.I'd check it out if you're curious like me, it doesn't really go into depth about it but it's interesting.

Larish deserves to be on the roster as well. If I'm correct, there are only 4 reserve spots which should be Santiago,Treanor,Larish, & Anderson. That seems pretty good to me, they just need to get rid of Thames. I like Thames, but he's gotten in the way for a couple of years-you have to have defense over offense in a reserve role-we've had way too many DH's.I think Anderson has the potential to be good offensively as well.We don't need Raburn right now-Ramon can play 2nd also, Clevlen will be gone. I'm really happy about this, I think the Tiger's made a great move. A lot of fans are getting upset over this-people are obsessed with power hitters that strike out a lot(Thames,Clevlen,Raburn). We got a defense&speed upgrade, and also a left handed bat.Atlanta fans tell me he has an outstanding arm, which Grandy,Maggs, & Guillen..not so much. I can smell another trade happening, will the Tiger's get a decent reliever/pitcher?

I like the move. As evidenced by the near-Mets/Tigers trade involving Rayburn, the Tigers can either trade him to the NL or simply sent him to Toledo. I like Rayburn and hope he gets a chance somewhere. The Tigers have given up on Clevlen, and Thames is the Fernando Rodney of the outfield. Anderson: 40+ steals in the minors AND a .315 average through 61 MLB games! I'll take it.

Good points, Dave. I just hope this move didn't suddenly knock Jeff Larish off the Opening Day roster.

Very good move. Darrow isn't anything special, at least not for awhile. I rather have a backup OF that has speed, good fielding, and a decent arm other than Thames. I like Thames but there's no room for him and no future. We need Maggs/Guillen/ or someone else at DH in the future.Anderson can do things Thames cant do, and better than Jacque Jones. Anderson might have the same average than Thames, but Anderson will give you much more. He also gives you good insurance for Clete, he might need precious time to recover from his injury- the minors will help. Raburn/Clevlen/or any other Tiger minor leaguer won't give you what Anderson can. I think it's a great move, this wouldn't have happened if he was out of options, especially with Atlanta having Heward.
