Never mind Mike, I did the research and I know why Robert Fick is a jackass. Wow, what a jackass! He caused the infamous Chicago fight also flicking off chicago fans and getting beer thrown at him, he also got in a fight at the Hockeytown Cafe yelling racial slurs, and in 2003 he slapped the ball out of the 1st baseman's glove in the NLDS when he played for the Braves. This guy must have been on roids or maybe just a dumb drunk..or just dumb.WOW, what a jackass he is.

The Tigers should call Pedro, but then again(kind of like Pudge)Pedro thinks he's worth $5 million. Once Pedro realizes he's going to get an incentive laced deal, then maybe he'll sign with somebody. Illitch made it clear he doesn't want to spend anymore money than he already has even if there's talent available(we can blame Dombrowski for that). I hope the Tigers sign him, we could use more depth and we could eventually dump Willis or Robertson. I have a question Mike McClary: I was wondering why you were so harsh on Robert Fick? I don't know much about Fick, I never paid attention to him but I met his parents at the Detroit airport and they were pretty nice. Did Fick say or do something stupid, Im really curious, could you please fill me in on why he's a jackass...lol?

Yeah yeah..lol. We all know Pudge isn't the player he once was(thats obvious)but he's still better than most catchers offensively. He's not good at blocking pitches but I rather have a Pudge on my team then no Pudge at all. I'd take a career .300 hitter over a .250 hitter(like most catchers)any day even if he was aging. Maybe he'll succeed in the NL. I think he's good enough to stick around a couple of more years. A lot of people are bitter about the way he left Detroit, but he did turn this franchise around you know. Imagine if the Tigers never had Pudge, and imagine how good Inge would have been at catcher. There's no way the Tiger's would have gone to the World Series and signed some of the players they did without Pudge. We might have gotten Maggs because everyone was scared about his injury, but without others I dont think we would have gotten very far. Maybe in the draft, we could have gotten more stars if Detroit sucked in 06 and 07, but that could have been short lived. I hope everyone can appreciate and be grateful for all the things he did do for the Tigers because no other catcher was available or as good offensively as him. I wish him the best for his new team.
