Stevie,

Good to hear from you.

Yes, Mr. Hafeli and I went to a card show in Indiana when I was a 9th Grader at Chippewa. Enos "Country" Slaughter was one of my Dad's all-time favorite players. Country provided an autograph for Dad. On the way back Mr. Hafeli took me to Wendy's for the first time. I thought it was the best burger I ever had.

I am brimming with Silver Rush optimism for the '09 season. Too early for my prediction, but let's say the playoff odds are most favorable for this upcoming campaign.

Mikey,

I received your voicemail today re: the MLB network. I will be checking it out for pleasure-type viewing, and Game 4 does not bring me that.

By the way Ian, if you read this please know I will be providing my Tiger predictions for 2009, much like I did for the Lions in 2008. Bet all you've got on my upcoming picks. They promise to be rock solid.
