If you need a little Tigers fix this afternoon, tune into the MLB Network at 1:30 ET for Game 4 of the 2006 World Series.
Personally, I can’t bear to watch it again.

I wimped out and only watched Game 2.

I only watched the ALCS games. I’m pretending the 2006 World Series never happened.

Mikey,
I received your voicemail today re: the MLB network. I will be checking it out for pleasure-type viewing, and Game 4 does not bring me that.
By the way Ian, if you read this please know I will be providing my Tiger predictions for 2009, much like I did for the Lions in 2008. Bet all you’ve got on my upcoming picks. They promise to be rock solid.

Tommy ……We always think the Lions are making the playoffs….Its what we do
PS Yesterday, Mr Hafeli told me about how he took you to a card show and you two ate with Enos Slaugther. How funny is that

Stevie,
Good to hear from you.
Yes, Mr. Hafeli and I went to a card show in Indiana when I was a 9th Grader at Chippewa. Enos “Country” Slaughter was one of my Dad’s all-time favorite players. Country provided an autograph for Dad. On the way back Mr. Hafeli took me to Wendy’s for the first time. I thought it was the best burger I ever had.
I am brimming with Silver Rush optimism for the ’09 season. Too early for my prediction, but let’s say the playoff odds are most favorable for this upcoming campaign.
