I am really scared that the Tigers just got another Willis. Can Jackson throw strikes? Overall I see this trade as a wash for both teams. He wasn't great in 2008 but he did take a step forward. He took a step forward at the age of 24. If he continues to baby-step forward then I think this is a decent deal for both clubs.
