Game 66: A Sweep of the Sox

OK. Before this series I said that the Tigers could have been swept by the White Sox. I believe a lot of you shared my sentiments. I don’t mind admitting that I’m wrong.
What a series this was!
The Tigers were able to get three great pitching performances including today by Kenny Rogers. Miguel Cabrera finished things in dramatic fashion with a walk-off solo shot in the 9th for a 2-1 victory.
The Tigers played these games like they had a purpose. They dispatched the Sox rather quickly in each of the three games, but especially the second and third. Two hours and thirteen minutes last night and two hours and four minutes this afternoon.
This was a fun series to watch, and it was nice to see the type of baseball the Tigers are capable of playing.
