Game 57: Francisco Cruceta, Professional Buzzkill

Can I be honest? After the Red Wings heart-wrenching/infuriating defeat to the Penguins this evening (it was still evening where I live), I really wasn’t in the mood for a Tigers bullpen disappointment. But I got one anyway!
I’m going to spare you the bitterness that’s taken over yours truly this evening and cut to the chase on this Tigers loss:
- Kenny Rogers was outstanding over seven innings.
- Francisco Cruceta blew it in less than one.
Methinks Cruceta will be on the waiver wire faster than you can say visa troubles once Joel Zumaya and/or Fernando Rodney return.
Up Next: Tigers @ Oakland
Dontrelle Willis (0-0, 7.50) @ Dana Eveland (4-4, 3.66)
P.S. That photo is not me. Rather, it’s a dramatization.
