  1. The Tigers make up two-thirds of Jayson Stark’s Wednesday Edition of “Three Strikes.” To wit:
    Mets GM Omar Minaya said Wednesday that the 2006 Yankees had the best lineup he’d ever seen in baseball — until the 2008 Tigers came along.

  2. I’m sure that I am the only one out here who hopes that Timo Perez makes the Opening Day roster. Right, Big Al? After all, baseball supposedly rewards merit, yes?
