Would you want Gary Sheffield mad at you — on the diamond or anywhere else? Me neither.

But it looks like Sheff’s former agent Scott Boras, still stinging from A-Rod’s spurnin’, finds himself in that unfortunate position.

“It’s going to be the ugliest thing you’ve ever seen.

“Certain people you don’t mess with and I guarantee you, I’m one of them.”

I, for one, take your word for it, Sheff.
So Sparky Anderson spent 12 days in the hospital because he was dehydrated? I live in the land of 7 percent humidity so I know from dehydration. But seriously, 12 days? Get well soon, George.

I wonder what kind of dirt Sheffield has on Boras.
