Inge Shatters Vow of Silence…and Tree Falls in the Woods

I’ve been saying for a while now that Brandon Inge needed to break his silence about his future and move on.

Sounds to me as if he’s still bitter:

“I didn’t ask to be put in this position. I don’t have to be happy with it.”

You may not have asked for it verbally, Brandon, but your performance at the dish in 2007 did more than that.

In fact, it screamed that 2006 was, in all likelihood, an aberration. From a power perspective or a run-producing perspective or…

Bottom line: At 30 you’re as good as you’re gonna get. Your successor is, perhaps, approaching his peak.

You do the math.

So, leave the attitude in South Carolina and go to Lakeland with a more cheery disposition, won’t you?
