Still Can’t Beat The White Sox

Rod Allen said right after Curtis Granderson had a bad swing to strike out against Bobby Jenks, “They just can’t beat these White Sox.”  Unfortunately this has been true for a lot of the season, and while the White Sox have been struggling.  I know that even though they are a last place team, they are still a major league ball club, but the Tigers should be able to beat this team.(Haven’t we heard me say this before?)

I had a bad feeling going into this game, and unfortunately my fears were substantiated.  Why should we be afraid of a team that is 21 games under .500 coming into this game?  In the process of losing this game, they lost a game in the wild card standings to the front running Yankees.  As I type this the Indians are down 5-3 in the 8th, but we can’t count the Indians out in a game like this these days.

Kenny Rogers return tomorrow will hopefully bring another bright spot to this late season swoon.
