More beefs with MLB schedule maker

How is it that the Tigers and White Sox get Labor Day off? I realize the Tigers are jetting back from the left coast, but it is a national holiday for goodness sakes. Isn’t this the equivalent of taking a Saturday in May off?

There are plenty of beefs with MLB schedulers this year (check with Seattle for starters), but giving teams a holiday off is a joke.
