Let’s See More Of This

This was a good series against the Yankees.  It was nice to get 3 out of 4 including this offensive extravaganza tonight to get a 16-0 win!  Sean Casey got his first triple since 2004.  It was great to have a fun night like this at the ballpark, and I was glad to be there live to see it.

This will mean nothing if the Tigers go to Kansas City, play poorly, and lose 2 out of 3.  Even though the Royals have been playing better baseball recently and are no longer in the A.L. Central cellar, the Tigers need to beat up on this team.  We will see if Nate Robertson, Andrew Miller, and Jeremy Bonderman can pitch like Justin Verlander did tonight. 

Congratulations on a good effort tonight.  We have been waiting for one like this for a while.

    You’re right John. All the fun and merriment at the CoPa Monday night means nothing without at two more wins in both KC and Oakland.

    It’s time for this team to string together a group of series wins.
