Nice Piece of Hitting

Cameron Maybin‘s fist MLB hit was a thing of beauty today. The hit and run was on and the youngster shot the Roger Clemens pitch right through the hole at second base.

The beautful thing, of course, is that once on first Maybin had Clemens, Jorge Posada, and much of the rest of the Yankees wondering when he’d take off for second.

Speed kills and if this kid can spend anytime at all on base, it’ll only help this team.
