Good Show Tonight

The Tigers did what they had to and got the first win against New York in the Bronx. It should give them a feeling of confidence tomorrow. Carlos Guillen hitting the grand slam in the first set the tone, and they never relinquished the lead. Despite what happened in the 9th, it still looked like a relatively easy win. I believe the Tigers have the mindset that they have more to accomplish the next three days.

This Tiger team was playing like this was a playoff game, and a few of the guys seemed pumped. Zach Miner showed such emotion after striking out Shelley Duncan, and Fernando Rodney found an extra gear when he needed it in the 8th.

Great team effort tonight. Keep it going, guys.
