A Nice Win

Justin Verlander gave the Tigers a quality start through six innings, and the bullpen players did the rest. That is what we have missed and enjoyed last night. It was nice not having to worry too much through those last innings, and the Yankees helped out by crushing the Indians 11-2, getting the Tigers to within a 1/2 game of the division leaders.

I know we’re all hoping this was not just a diversion before more setbacks. It would be great to get that positive feeling going into every game like we had with this team in the first half of the season. Like the Tigers can beat anyone.

Let’s enjoy the win last night. We’ll see if we can keep that positive feeling going.
