On July 13, 2003, the Tigers acquired OF Ben Petrick from the Rockies for RHP Adam Bernero.
Where were you when that deal was announced?

Mike, I remember it well. I was reading a newspaper outside a coffee shop, saying “Who the #@$% is Ben Petrick?”
(Actually, I thought that might be a good deal at the time. The Tigers needed someone – anyone – to provide some pop, especially behind the plate.)
