Booth Newspaper’s Danny Knobler is reporting Joel Zumaya has a torn tendon in the middle finger of his pitching hand that will require surgery. Time out of the lineup 12 weeks.

I guess this is why Jose Mesa was signed, eh? Let’s hope he can hold down the sixth inning and Fernando Rodney’s got everything straightened out for the seventh and eighth.
