So the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Bottom 10, two on, two out, Carlos Guillen at the plate. BJ Ryan just walked Magg’s on five pitches and Guillen first-pitch swings to meekly pop-out to second.

I know, I know, this the way this team operates, but it’s so bloody frustrating for someone who grew up with the take-a-pitch approach to batting — especially following a walk.

No surprise, but I was thinking the exact same thing. Cue up the commentary from last year’s podcast in which we lament this problem.

Settle in, folks, plate discipline not coming to a Tigers game near you.

Mike I guess its already time to start the Monroe Bashing. (4 k’s and just a terrible misplay it the outfield) Most players are content with Golden Mexican Hat but Monroe wanted more so he threw in the wonderful defense as well.

Now I had to watch the game on mlb “gameday,” since I was teaching and all. Or rather I was supposed to be teaching. But from what I “saw” Bondo seems to be having those first inning troubles again. I am glad he shut them down after that but letting 3 go in the first inning is no way to win games. Not saying, just saying.

Game? What Game? Was there a Game? Opening Day? Whatdid I miss…… oh yeah Dish Network has decided that I am a Cleveland Indian fan and blocked Tiger fans in NW Ohio from seeing the games. What a joke. I am blacked out, but can not get the game on MLB.com, Extra Innings, or any other avenue. Well, back to the radio……..I wish Ernie and Paul were back……

Lost in the NW Ohio Sink hole with NO TIGERS!
