I really don't know where you're coming from. Yes, he's a little macho, but then the Tigers would be pretty bland if all we had were Brandon Inge's. I happen to like Brandon, also. To me, he is just is a fierce competitor who is very strong willed. The business about him wearing #3 I find to be a great compliment. He's a great, great player wearing another great player's number. #3 is not a retired number. So what is your problem with that? I also like Marcus Thames but there is absolutely no comparison between the two IMO. I just wish they could find a place for Marcus to play on a fairly reasonable basis. They sign Sheffield for his right handed bat when they need a left handed power hitter. He's had injuries the last couple of seasons. I thought we had plenty of right handed power in the line-up already. There is only 9 spots in the batting order and I feel Thames should get a chance to improve on last years totals.
