Here’s a Bit of Useless Info

In the 106 years the Tigers have been playing baseball in Detroit they never had a player with a surname of Perez until last August when Neifi came aboard via trade. This year Timo Perez is in camp but likely headed to Toledo. So, 105 years with no one named Perez in a Tigers uni and then two in seven months.

I suppose the same can be said of having players with first names of Neifi and Timo.
