How Times Have Changed, Episode 92

We’ve leaned heavily on that adage since the Tigers started making serious inroads on the 2006 post season and I’m here to lean on it a little more.

On Thursdays (I think), The Detroit News puts together an outstanding weekly package of Tigers stories.

This is the first offseason in recent memory in which the Tigers earned any column inches of note in the snow-producing months.

What was there to talk about on Feb. 1, 2006? Nothing!

2005? Magglio Ordonez‘s signed with the Tigers, but what else?

2004? Pudge signed with the Tigers, but what else?

These are the glory days, folks.
